It is highly recommended to take the practice tests for each subject (Maths, Science, English, Cyber, G.K and Reasoning) before attempting GOTAK. This will give the student a fair idea of the level of questions that can be expected in the actual assessment.

Since only one attempt is allowed, the student should try and good scores in these practice tests.

ONLINE. The child will take the online assessment paper from the comforts of home. Only 1 attempt is allowed.

  • Section 2 - Science - Higher order thinking. (15 questions).
  • Section 3 - Mathematics - Higher order thinking. (10 questions).
  • Section 4 - Cyber. (05 questions).
  • Section 5 - English. (05 questions).
  • Section 6 - G.K. (05 questions).

  • 90 Minutes.

  • Section – 1, Mental Ability & Logical Reasoning (10 questions): Patterns, Analogy and Classification, Coding-Decoding, Geometrical Shapes, Mirror Images, Water Images, Embedded Figures, Direction Sense Test and Logical Sequence of Words.
  • Section – 2, Science (15 questions): Motion and Measurement of Distances, Light, Shadows and Reflections, Electricity and Circuits, Magnets, Sorting and Separation of Materials, Physical and chemical changes, Living Organisms and Their Surroundings, Food and its Components.
  • Section – 3, Maths (10 questions): Numbers, Integers, Fractions, Decimals, Data Handling, Mensuration, Algebra, Ratio And Proportion, Symmetry, Practical Geometry
  • Section – 4, Cyber (05 questions): Input and Output Devices, Hardware, Software, Storage Devices, Memory –Primary & Secondary Memory, MS-Paint, Introduction to Multimedia, MS-Word, Introduction to MS-PowerPoint, Internet, Computer Networks and Using Windows.
  • Section – 5, English (05 questions): Synonyms, Antonyms, Nouns, Pronouns, Verbs, Adverbs, Adjectives, Contractions, Articles, Prepositions, Conjunctions, Tenses, Punctuations and Jumbled words.
  • Section – 6, G.K (05 questions):Classification into indoor and outdoor games, Elementary questions on various popular sports like cricket, football, hockey, basketball, skating, badminton, etc. Players related to the games, Great personalities, Important days, Cartoons and movies.
