Preparing for GOTAK

It is highly recommended to take the practice tests for each subject (Maths, Science, English, Cyber, G.K and Reasoning) before attempting GOTAK. This will give the student a fair idea of the level of questions that can be expected in the actual assessment.

Since only one attempt is allowed, the student should try and good scores in these practice tests.

Section – 2, Science (15 questions): Animals, Human Body and Health, Plants, Natural Resources and calamities, Earth and Universe, Matter, Force, Work and Energy.

Section – 3, Maths (10 questions): Number sense, Numeral and Number Name (7 and 8 digit numbers), Roman Numbers, Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Factors and Multiples, LCM, HCF, Whole, Prime and Composite Numbers, Fractions, Decimals, Geometrical Shapes & Angles, Measurements, Time and Money

Section – 4, Cyber (05 questions): Input and Output Devices, Hardware, Software, Storage Devices, Memory –Primary & Secondary Memory, MS-Paint, Introduction to Multimedia, MS-Word, Introduction to MS-PowerPoint, Internet, Computer Networks and Using Windows.

Section – 5, English (05 questions): Synonyms, Antonyms, Nouns, Pronouns, Verbs, Adverbs, Adjectives, Contractions, Articles, Prepositions, Conjunctions, Tenses, Punctuations and Jumbled words.

Section – 6, G.K (05 questions):Classification into indoor and outdoor games, Elementary questions on various popular sports like cricket, football, hockey, basketball, skating, badminton, etc. Players related to the games, Great personalities, Important days, Cartoons and movies.
