gotak preparation

It is highly recommended to take the practice tests for each subject (Maths, Science, English, Cyber, G.K and Reasoning) before attempting GOTAK. This will give the student a fair idea of the level of questions that can be expected in the actual assessment.

Since only one attempt is allowed, the student should try and good scores in these practice tests.

gotak structure

ONLINE. The child will take the online assessment paper from the comforts of home. Only 1 attempt is allowed.

  • Section 2 - Science - Higher order thinking. (15 questions).
  • Section 3 - Mathematics - Higher order thinking. (10 questions).
  • Section 4 - Cyber. (05 questions).

  • Section 6 - G.K. (05 questions).

  • 90 Minutes.

  • Section – 1, Mental Ability & Logical Reasoning (10 questions): Patterns, Odd One Out, Series Completion, Analogy, Ranking Test, Spatial Understanding, Problems Based on Figures, Geometrical Shapes.
  • Section – 2, Science (15 questions): Living and Non-living things, Plants, Animals, Human Beings and Their Needs, Good Habits and Safety Rules, Air and Water, Weather and the Sky.
  • Section – 3, Maths (10 questions): Numerals, Number Name and Number Sense (2 digit numbers), Addition, Subtraction, Length, Weight, Time, Money, Geometrical Skills.
  • Section – 4, Cyber (05 questions): Introduction to Computers, Parts of Computer, Uses of Computer, Basics of Keyboard and Mouse.
  • Section – 5, English (05 questions): Jumbled Letters, Word meanings and Opposites, Identify the Word From the Picture, Forming a word, Feminine and Masculine, One and Many, Word Pairs, Animal Babies, Animal Sounds.
  • Section – 6, G.K (05 questions):Classification into indoor and outdoor games, Elementary questions on various popular sports like cricket, football, hockey, basketball, skating, badminton, etc. Players related to the games, Great personalities, Important days, Cartoons and movies.
