About the Contest
The Indian Institute of Carpet Technology (IICT, Bhadohi), in collaboration with the Central Wool Development Board (CWDB), Jodhpur, and MyGov, presents a Logo Design Competition. The aim is to create a symbol of quality assurance for woolen handmade carpets and rugs manufactured in India. This initiative is under the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.
The contest encourages creativity and innovation among Indian citizens, requiring original entries that comply with the Indian Copyright Act, 1957, and respect intellectual property rights. IICT Bhadohi, CWDB Jodhpur, and MyGov are not liable for copyright violations or infringements by participants.
Contest Theme
Design a logo symbolizing the quality assurance label for woolen handmade carpets and rugs made in India.
Logo Specifications

Size: 2.5 cm to 10 cm.

Versions: One for products with 80% wool and above, and another for products with 50% wool and above.

Format: PDF or SVG.
Eligibility
Open to all students from recognized institutions in India with valid ID proof.
Submission and Technical Requirements
Submit a unique and elegant logo with a brief description of the concept and inspiration. Designs must be original, handcrafted, and not AI-generated.
Gratification
Best Logo: ₹25,000 and a certificate. Consolation prizes for the first and second runners-up include certificates.
