Math Riddle #10 - Two sons and two fathers went for fishing in the same boat. They all caught a fish each but the total catch is only three? How is this even possible?

Answer - This is very much possible. Only three people had gone for fishing - A son, his father and his grandfather. However, when you count the number of fathers and sons, it is 2 + 2. Tricky, right? 

Math Riddle #9 - Mrs Shah has four daughters. Each daughter has a brother. What is the total number of children, Mrs Shah has? 

Answer - Mrs Shah has five children. Each daughter has the same brother. So, four daughter and one son.

Math Riddle #8 - There are five apples in a basket. If you take away three apples, how many apples do you have now? 

Answer - You have 3 apples. You took away three and two are remaining in the basket. 

Math Riddle #7 - When Jack was 8, his brother was half his age. If Jack is 14 years now, what is his brother's age?

Answer - His brother is 10 years now. He was 4 years, when Jack was 8 years. 6 years later, Jack became 14 and his brother 10.

Math Riddle #6 - Day before yesterday, Jack was 10. Next year, he will turn 13. How can this be possible? 

Answer - Let us assume that today is Jan 1st and Jack's birthday is on Dec 31st. So, on Dec 30th, he was 10 and will turn 11 on Dec 31st (last year). This year on Dec 31st, he will turn 12, so next year on Dec 31st, he will turn 13, 

Math Riddle #5 - What would you put between 5 and 6 to ,make the result greater than 5 but lesser than 6?

Answer - A decimal point. 

Math Riddle #4 - What would you do to make this equation correct - 81 x 9 = 801? 

Answer - Turn it upside down. The equation now becomes, 108 = 6 x 18, which is correct. 

Math Riddle #3 - Which odd number becomes an even number, when one letter is taken away?

Answer - SEVEN. Take away S and it become even. 

Math Riddle #2 - Which is heavier- A ton of feathers or a ton of stones?

Answer - Both weigh the same. 

Math Riddle #1 - Which three numbers give the same result when they are added or multiplied together?

Answer - 1, 2 and 3.  1 x 2 x 3 = 6. 1 + 2 + 3 = 6.
