IMO Exam dates

If you're preparing for the International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO), staying informed about the exam dates is crucial. The Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) provides a range of dates for conducting the IMO exam, and schools can choose any one of them to organize the Olympiad exams.

Note that the change of date is not permitted, and schools must send registration forms to the SOF at least 30 days before the selected date.

The IMO is held at two levels - Level 1 and Level 2, with the latter typically taking place within two months after the Level 1 exams are over. For the year 2022, the IMO exam dates, along with the tentative result dates, have been released by the Science Olympiad Foundation on their website.

Keep in mind that there are three dates for schools to choose from, and they can select any one of them. While the dates for the upcoming IMO are yet to be announced, it's advisable to register your school beforehand and stay updated with the official website.

Once the exams are conducted, the SOF usually releases answer keys to the questions in January. The answer keys for IMO will be released separately for Set A, Set B, and Set C. Analyzing the answer keys can help students identify areas that need improvement and further prepare for the next round.

The IMO Results for Level 1 are expected to be declared by January and they will be sent to schools and uploaded on the official website. Students can check their results by entering their roll number or school code. Qualifying students will then be eligible to participate in the Level 2 exams.

Keep yourself informed about the latest IMO exam dates, register your school before the deadline, and prepare to excel in the Maths Olympiad.
