ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP

The Skoll Scholarship 2019 is an opportunity for MBA aspirants who aim to take their social impact to the next level and gain professional leadership and business skills. The scholarship programme will provide full funding along with a living stipend to complete MBA at the University of Oxford's Saïd Business School. Provided by the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship, this scholarship will also give the students an exclusive opportunity to meet world-renowned entrepreneurs, thought leaders and investors..

The scholarship is offered by the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship. Also known as Oxford Saïd, the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship is a leading centre for the advancement of social entrepreneurship worldwide. Oxford Saïd is the University of Oxford's centre of learning for undergraduate and graduate students in business, management and finance.

 ELIGIBILITY

The Skoll Scholarship is open to students pursuing entrepreneurial solutions for urgent social and environmental challenges. 

• Be an MBA aspirant
• Candidates having a strong track record in social entrepreneurship
• Have spent at least 3 years in growing a social venture or playing a major part in leading a venture in an organisation or have brought positive changes as an entrepreneur
• Have personal qualities of a social entrepreneur.
• Have a need for financial support

AWARDS AND REWARDS

At the end of the selection process, up to 5 scholarships will be awarded. The various benefits of the scholarship are:

• The scholarship will cover the entire fee for the MBA program.
• Living expenses of at least GBP 14777 will be covered under the scholarship.
• Students will get opportunities to meet with world-renowned entrepreneurs, thought-leaders, and investors.
• Students will gain professional leadership and business skills.
• Opportunity to become a part of the Skoll Scholar community, a group of leaders who are positively impacting the world through innovation and systems change.
