Hard riddles for kids

 

We have compiled these hard riddles for kids to stimulate their lateral thinking. These riddles are so hard that most kids get stumped. So, don't worry if you are not able to crack these rather tricky brain teasers. On the other hand, if you are able to solve them, do not forget to give yourself a pat on your back.

Riddle #10 - What goes around the world but never leaves the corner? 

Answer - A stamp

Riddle #9 - What would you find in Jupiter, Mercury, Earth and Mars but not in Neptune or Venus?

Answer - The alphabet 'R'. 

Riddle #8 - A bus driver was heading down a busy street. He went past three stop signs without stopping, went the wrong way down a one-way street and answered a message on his phone. 

However, he did not violate any traffic rules. How is this possible?

Answer - The bus driver was not driving but walking. Most kids assume that the bus driver was driving. This information is given to deceive them.

Riddle #7 - It does not occupy any space but can fill up a room. What is it?

Answer - Light

Riddle #6 - It is the only place in the world where 'today' comes before 'yesterday'. Do you know, where?

Answer - In a dictionary

Riddle #5 - If you have it, you don't share it. If you share, you dont have it. What is it?

Answer - A secret

Riddle #4 - What make a loud sound when it is changing but becomes bigger and lighter after changing? 

Answer - Popcorn

Riddle #3 - What can run but cannot walk?

Answer - Water

Riddle #2 - What has a mouth but cannot speak?

Answer - A river

Riddle #1 - What starts with T, ends with T and has T inside it?

Answer - Teapot
